my "checklist"

·    open-minded (doesn’t have to agree with something or actively engage in it, just has to not ridicule it or discriminate against it) and tolerant of diversity

·    honest (withholding information is the same as lying)

·    fair / equality (no double-standards; doesn’t subscribe to stereotypical or traditional gender roles)

·    intelligent (I cannot abide stupid people)

·    must have good personal hygiene and grooming habits (not a complete slob)

·    non-smoker

·    no alcoholics or drug-addicts

·    not abusive (physically or verbally)

·    responsible (so the stresses of keeping house, paying bills, raising kids, etc. doesn’t land solely on me)

·    self-sufficient (I’m not raising a spouse alongside raising my children)

·    financially stable (i.e. no welfare bums sitting on their ass mooching off me)

·    self-starter / has initiative (I’m sick of leading people around by the nose cuz they’re too stupid to figure things out themselves)

·    healthy attitude towards sex (not abusive, or repressed, or psychotic)

·    not threatened by my flirting or my being flirted with

·    agreeable to me remaining poly

·    kinky (or, at the very least, willing to either indulge my fetishes or allow me an outlet to indulge them)

·    pagan-tolerant
